Why do young men like Fight Club so much?

As a young woman who watched and enjoyed (be shook) David Fincher's cult classic, it's really interesting to see who the 'typical' audience became and how it got its revered status among Gen Xers. Young 'frat' guys have worshipped the film for years and I guess I just want to ask why they like it so much.

Over the summer of 2020, I started a blog dedicated to film, popular culture. I sporadically posted throughout the year, but this is one of my favourite posts. The F Word was like a basis and starting point for PHASMA and perhaps a sister blog in the future after some development. I haven't edited any of those blogs, and I think they really example how much my copy skills have grown.
